Preschoolers and Kindergartners are at such a special and fun age, and they require more adaptations to help them learn. Our Kick Start program is a specialized program for this age (at least 4 years old). These classes are thirty minutes in length. However, we don’t skimp on the instruction; that shortened class is helping them grow in a safe and age-appropriate environment while preparing them for their transition into our Kids program.

Your young one will start their class with five minutes of exercises like running, jumping, back pedaling, and figuring out those tricky jumping jacks. This is followed by about five minutes of simple stretches. The rest of the class is filled with learning taekwon-do techniques to help develop both gross and fine motor muscle skills. Kick Start students learn the same techniques, but details are given out at a pace easier for this age to pick up. Every class ends with a fun drill, a drill that pulls in important movements and techniques to help build their skills but done in a way that appears more like a game.
